Sloan's method to movement combines mat pilates, yin yoga (restorative yoga) and yoga nidra (a highly potent and relaxing form of meditation done lying down). This unique modality focuses on gently conditioning the body and creating brain heart coherence. This modality create a more stabilized frequency within your body, brain and heart - which, is ultimately very healing and revealing. At le rêve, our primary intention is to have you feel secure and at ease in your body-mind so that you can freely express yourself with clarity and calm confidence. When you feel better, you make better decisions. The habit of second guessing yourself melts away. Maintaining integrity with yourself becomes easy and you move with definite purpose. In no uncertain terms, you become highly magnetic. These practises are focused on shifting your senses and strategically accessing parts of your being that are locked away. The more you practise, the more in-tune you are with yourself and the sharper you are at using your inner compass as you move forward in life. Your body is your home. Your soul breathes life through your body thus creating your outer reality. le rêve is the vision of Sloan, a lifelong lucid dreamer, competitively trained jazz, tap & ballet dancer, certified yoga nidra guide, YTT200 and pilates mat instructor. le rêve is founded on the modalities that Sloan instinctively turned to in order to come back to life (revive) from post traumatic stress and several long post concussion symptoms. Sloan knows the state of being she's endured was a necessary passage obligatoire in order for her to learn to think differently and to heal her whole body into a self-sufficient state, and to show others how to do the same - through fine-tuning their body and mind in the way she coaches and guides.
